Series 57 Exam Cost: Fees and Free Beta Prep

The FINRA Series 57 exam fee is $105. Separate the exam fee, SIE costs, and preparation access when planning your budget. Study with CertFuel.

FINRA lists a $105 Series 57 exam fee. CertFuel’s Series 57 course is currently in Free Beta, but that course offer does not pay or waive FINRA’s exam fee. Check the current FINRA exam-fee table before enrollment.

What does the $105 cover?

The listed fee is for the Series 57 examination. Treat it separately from preparation materials, transportation, and any other registration expenses your firm discusses with you. Ask your sponsoring firm whether it pays directly or reimburses you, and what documentation it needs.

You also need to consider the SIE if you do not already have valid credit for it. The SIE has its own exam fee. Avoid combining the two into a single advertised “Series 57 price” without explaining what is included.

What does Free Beta include?

CertFuel currently provides Series 57 lessons, practice questions, and flashcards in Free Beta. The marketing hub also links public study tools, a podcast course, and a video course with a lesson for every testable topic. There is no published beta expiration date, and the offer is not a promise that access will remain free permanently.

The public practice test, flashcards, and cheat sheet can help you start without buying materials. The fixed public samples are smaller than the app’s question and flashcard banks.

Which costs should you confirm with your firm?

Ask who pays the initial exam fee, how a retake would be handled, and whether changing an appointment creates an additional charge under the applicable scheduling policy. Check those policies before moving your date; do not assume the prep provider controls them.

If you need travel or time away from work, budget for that too. A short conversation before booking can prevent a reimbursement surprise later.

Should a free course change your study plan?

Access cost and readiness are separate questions. Work through the study plan and use missed-question explanations to decide what needs review. Do not book solely because a course is available without a paywall, and do not buy another course solely because it costs more. Compare the actual coverage and the way you learn.
